Gurnee police seek driver who hit skateboarder

Gurnee police are looking for the driver they say intentionally struck a youth skateboarding near Old Grand Avenue and O'Plaine Road Wednesday afternoon.

The vehicle, which was occupied by two black men, left the scene about 12:36 p.m., police said Friday in a news release. The car, possibly a Ford Five Hundred, is described as a dark-colored, newer-model, four-door vehicle.

The victim suffered minor injuries.
