Elgin Human Relations Commission to hold community discussion on political violence

The Elgin Human Relations Commission will hold a community discussion titled “Understanding and Addressing Political Violence: Promoting Peace, Equity, and Inclusion in Elgin” from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4 at The Centre of Elgin, 100 Symphony Way.

The free event will feature a keynote address, a panel discussion with local leaders and advocates, breakout sessions and a community pledge to commit to peace-building efforts in Elgin.
