Elgin Image Awards names 2024 recipients
The Enhancing Elgin Committee of the Elgin Area Chamber’s Elgin Development Group will recognize people and organizations with the 2024 Elgin Image Awards on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave. in Elgin. It will begin with networking at 4:30 p.m. and an awards ceremony from 5 to 6 p.m.

• Creating a Difference Groups/Organization or Business: Finishing Well and ECC Center for Civic Engagement
• Professional Rockstar: Ursula (Ula) Borodzinska and Paul Bednar
• Gamechanger Project: Dementia Friendly Elgin Area and YouthBuild Elgin
• Volunteer Extraordinaire: Christine Awe, Scott Savel, Dr. Clare Ollayos, and Jeanette Mihalec
