ALMAS hosts Naperville’s second annual Día de Muertos: Celebrating Community and Life Nov. 2

Alliance of Latinos Motivating Action in the Suburbs (ALMAS) is hosting Naperville’s second annual Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead): Celebrating Community and Life.

This community event will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion in downtown Naperville. Admission is free, and the event is family-friendly. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, this celebration promises even more memorable experiences.

Día de Muertos is a deeply meaningful tradition in Mexico and across Latin America, celebrating life, memory, and the connections we share with those who have passed. ALMAS invites everyone to experience the beauty and joy of this tradition through a variety of immersive activities.

This celebration is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all, regardless of race, ethnicity, language, religion, or age. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an unforgettable day filled with culture, music, and community.
