Palatine teen’s debut novel is a suspenseful political thriller

Ishaan Srivastava, a Palatine native and a University of Wisconsin student, captivates readers with his debut novel, “Saving Crescents.”

This political thriller follows Secretary of Foreign Relations Neil Denmark and Senate Leader Bertha York as they confront a broken political system in their nation. Tasked with restoring democracy amid corruption and lawlessness, Bertha and Neil must navigate both internal chaos and external threats as Crescents prepares for war with it’s northern neighbor, Ravalia.
