Downtown Arlington Heights celebrates Halloween Oct. 26
Downtown Arlington Heights will host all the ghouls and goblins from the Northwest suburbs on Saturday, Oct. 26, when The Downtown Arlington Heights Business Association (DAHBA) hosts a full-day Halloween spectacular.
The “Boo’s and Booze” celebration will kick off with the “Boo’s” portion for little ones. From 3:30-5:30 p.m., downtown businesses will open their doors for trick-or-treaters. There will be games, face painting and a costume contest at Coco & Blu (12 S. Dunton). The costume contest will begin at 5 p.m.
Additionally, DKMO Law (11 S. Dunton) will feature the return of the DKMO Haunted Office from 3-5 p.m. All those under 18 who dare are welcome to join; there will be a less scary room for younger and more sensitive guests.
“If you already think lawyers are scary, wait until you meet us,” said Ernie Rose, managing partner of the firm. “We look forward to bringing back this Arlington Heights tradition, with a new batch of victims to frighten.”
All daytime events are free to the public; guests are invited to stay downtown and dine at one of the many excellent restaurants.
That evening, the “Booze” portion of the event will kick off for adults. Downtown bars and restaurants will have specialty drinks and guests are invited to wear their Halloween costumes for a social media costume contest. Make sure to wear your costumes and help turn DTA into the largest Halloween party in the Northwest suburbs.
