Naperville Responds For Veterans to host ‘Cheers to Veterans’ Nov. 15

Naperville Responds For Veterans will host its 14th annual “Cheers to Veterans” event on Wednesday, Nov. 15.

This special evening will honor veterans and raise funds to support local veterans and their families with home repairs and remodeling to accommodate health issues or disabilities.

It will be 6 to 11 p.m. at Bobak’s Signature Events, 6440 Double Eagle Drive in Woodridge. It will begin with a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres from 6 to 7 p.m. with dinner at 7:30 p.m.

The highlight of this year’s event will be the keynote speech by Marine veteran Lynn Lowder, owner of Rosie’s Home Cookin’.

Lowder’s inspiring journey, from serving in the U.S. Marine Corps to founding his successful local business, showcases his resilience, leadership, and dedication to supporting veterans.

Attendees will hear his motivational stories about overcoming challenges and the critical importance of helping our veteran community thrive.

“Cheers to Veterans” will feature fine food, an open bar, a live auction, and a paddle raise. Proceeds from the evening will go directly to support veterans through Naperville Responds For Veterans’ mission to provide home repair assistance to those who have served our country.

Tickets for this event are available for purchase online via www.napervilleresponds.org/cheers2024/. Tickets are $200 or $1,800 for a table of 10.
