Hometown Hoedown returns to Rolling Meadows Oct. 5

The city of Rolling Meadows will be holding its eighth annual Hometown Hoedown Fall Fest from 2-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. This fall fest with a country-western twist will be held in Kimball Hill Park, 3286 Kirchoff Road, in Rolling Meadows.

Last year, “Sundown at the Hoedown” was introduced and featured the live music of the Hillbilly Rockstarz under the ‘big tent.’ This year, “Sundown at the Hoedown” returns and will once again feature the Hillbilly Rockstarz, performing from 6-8 p.m.

Family fun includes a petting zoo, pony rides, hay rides, caricatures, crafts, balloon art, face painting and more from 2-5 p.m.

Y’all, put on your dancing shoes and enjoy some square dancing at 3 p.m., followed by line dancing from 4-6 p.m. And, make sure to also bring a hearty appetite, you won’t want to miss the Cowboy Cookout Dinner and Bar, provided by Rep’s Place, from 2:30-8 p.m.
