Counterproductive stand

As writer Marion J. Reis pointed out, Trump’s plan to deport hundreds of thousands of immigrants, legal or illegal will cost us, the taxpayers billions of dollars. And to her point, who will replace them in the jobs they were working (and paying taxes)?

Many young Americans who are currently still living at home, rent free with their parents have no interest in working. Why should they? They have it all. We all have heard businesses and employers say, “We can’t find enough help.”

So, the idea of deporting people willing to work and pay taxes certainly seems counterproductive.
