Seventh annual Fall Back Brew Fest features local breweries, food and music

The Palatine Jaycees are hosting its seventh annual Fall Back Brew Fest from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, in downtown Palatine. The festival will host a mix of about 50 local and national breweries, allowing attendees to sample their favorite fall beers, food trucks and live music.

“We’re excited to bring back Fall Back Brew Fest for the seventh year,” said Margie Musary, cochair of the project. “We will be hosting a variety of seasonal beers such as stouts, porters, ciders, and more from many local breweries. A limited number of wine and seltzers will also be available for the first time.”

“Food trucks will be on-site for attendees to nibble on delicious food during the fest. The event will welcome back from last year Tacos Las Manitas. New this year we will have local favorite Reps Express,” added Megan O’Brien, cochair of the event.

“Tickets are on sale now,” added Emily Reyes, another cochair of the project. “There will be specialty brews for those who opt-in for the VIP ticket.”

VIP tickets will include access to the event beginning an hour earlier at noon with the general public arriving at 1 p.m. VIP customers will also receive five additional tasting tickets and access to the all-new VIP area.

The Palatine Jaycees, one of 23 local chapters throughout the state of Illinois, has 105 members. The Jaycees provide individuals between the ages of 21 and 40 the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills while serving their community.
