One-two punch should be decisive
Donald Trump now admits he “lost by a whisker” to Joe Biden in the 2020 election.
His four years of lying eroded trust in our elections, created more acrimony and division in our country and incited an attack on our Capitol. Do his followers feel betrayed? Can he ever be believed? Is such a liar fit to be president again?
On another front, Donald Trump had long ridiculed electric vehicles. After Elon Musk planned to contribute as much as $180 million to pro-Trump super PAC, Trump began praising electric vehicles and said he plans to appoint Mr. Musk, who leads Tesla, Space X and X, as the head of a new government efficiency commission if he is elected president in November.
Later, Mr. Musk endorsed a post that suggested women do not have the ability for critical thought and should not participate in government.
How can this one-two punch have credibility with anyone?
