Lombard senior fair returns with mobile driver’s license facility

Lombard seniors can receive free health screenings and get their flu shot at a village-hosted event next month.

The annual senior fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the Lombard Park District’s Madison Meadow Athletic Center at 500 E. Wilson Ave.

The Secretary of State’s Mobile Driver’s License Facility will be on-site, offering to renew licenses and issue state I.D. cards by appointment only. A number of agencies, community groups and vendors also will provide information about senior-focused products and services.

Coffee and snacks will be served during the event, and the park district will offer free all-day passes to the facility.
