Deer Park to sell land to developer for $1.1 million

The Deer Park village board will meet Thursday night to approve selling land to a developer for $1.1 million, and to discuss other business.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Deer Park Vehe Barn, 23570 W. Cuba Road.

The proposed land deal is for roughly 7 acres at 21180 N Rand Road. The heavily wooded, undeveloped lot is on the west side of Rand, north of Bowlero.

A South Barrington real estate company called Projades wants to buy the property.

A vote on the deal is part of the meeting’s consent agenda, which typically is reserved for routine matters.
