Elgin church to host classical and sacred duets for piano and organ Sept. 21

First Congregational Church of Elgin is hosting a concert with the Neufeld Brothers Duo on Saturday, Sept. 21.

It will be 6 to 7 p.m. at the church, 256 E. Chicago St. in downtown Elgin. A freewill offering is taken to support the church’s music programs.

The church's 2024-25 concert series kicks off with an evening of classical and sacred duets for piano and organ, featuring brothers Jeremy Neufeld on piano, and Jeffrey Neufeld on organ.

Jeremy is music director of Elim Lutheran Church in Lake Stevens, Washington; and Jeffrey is music director of First Congregational Church in Elgin. Both brothers are graduates of Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. Jeremy also will joining the church on Sunday morning for a hymn-sing.
