Aurora church to host Fox Valley Orchestra and Chorus Sept. 29

Fox Valley Orchestra and Chorus will be opening the 2024-2025 concert season on Sunday, Sept. 29, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Aurora.

The concert will begin at 3 p.m. at the church, 27 S. Edgelawn Drive. The public is invited.

Conductor Stephen Squires will lead the orchestra. Lisa Fredenburgh is chorus master.

The inaugural concert of the 2024-2025 season will feature pieces by Bizet, Borodin, Fauré, Ponchielli, Smetana, and Turina.

Tickets (online) are $20 general admission, $18 students/seniors, $12 children 8 and under. At the door, tickets are $25 general admission, $22 student/seniors, $16 children, age 8 or under. Four, five and six-concert subscriptions are available with discounts.
