Arlington Heights American Legion celebrates centennial with open house

Arlington Heights American Legion Post 208 is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a community open house Sunday afternoon.

The public is invited from noon to 4 p.m. for food, beverages and museum tours at the post, 121 N. Douglas Ave.

The museum features pictures, uniforms and memorabilia from the past century.

Attendees can enjoy a free hot dog or hamburger with chips, popcorn and $1 draft beer, while shooting pool and playing tunes on the jukebox for free.
