Trucks burglarized in Des Plaines, but nothing stolen

Five trucks parked at a business on the 600 block of Northwest Highway in Des Plaines were burglarized this week.

The break-ins happened Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. Trucks with closed windshield sleeper curtains appear to have been targeted, police said.

Driver’s side windows were broken on all five trucks, police said. Nothing was reported stolen.
