Nazi association seems OK

After thorough reporting by The Daily Herald concerning his family’s association with a self-described “actual literal Nazi,” Tommy Hanson remains on the ballot in our community as the GOP candidate in the coming election for the U.S. 5th Congressional District.

The “shoulda, coulda, woulda” response by Illinois Republican Party State Central Committee representative for the 5th District, Aaron Del Mar, falls short and sounds like someone who got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

Is anyone surprised?

From top to bottom, today’s GOP relies on the support of far-right extremists.

Voters should bear this in mind when they cast their ballot this November.
