Glen Ellyn forum to feature DuPage chief judge

DuPage County Chief Judge Bonnie Wheaton and retired Judge Thomas Dudgeon will participate in a forum hosted by the Glen Ellyn and Elmhurst chapters of the League of Women Voters.

The in-person event is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Hadley Junior High, 240 Hawthorne Blvd., Glen Ellyn. The forum will explore how the Illinois judicial system works and how to research candidates running for judicial seats.

Wheaton began her term as chief judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in 2023. Dudgeon, a former associate judge, presided over various court divisions in DuPage.
