Park Avenue roadwork to begin Sept. 9 in Libertyville

Park Avenue (Route 176) from Garfield/Brainerd Avenue to Park Place in Libertyville will be resurfaced beginning, weather permitting, Sept. 9.

The work anticipated to be completed in November will require daytime and occasional overnight lane closures, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Access to residences and businesses within the work zone will be maintained throughout construction. Drivers should expect delays and allow extra time for trips through the area.
