Geneva Citizens Police Academy taking applications for fall session

Geneva residents interested in learning how the police department operates can attend the Citizen Police Academy.

Classes are from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday nights from Oct. 3 to Dec. 19. Students must be at least 21 years old. Owners of Geneva businesses are also eligible. Applications are available at geneva.il.us or the Geneva Police Department, 20 Police Plaza. They are due Sept. 20.
