The Dance Lab opens enrollment for ‘Ballroom Dance’ Junior Program

The Dance Lab, 201 S. Third St. in St. Charles, is now accepting enrollment for their “Ballroom Dance” Junior Program until Tuesday, Sept. 3.

This eight-week program will take place at 6 p.m. Mondays, starting on Sept. 9. It is for children ages 5 to 16.

During the “Ballroom Dance” Junior Program, children will have the opportunity to learn the art of Ballroom Dance by mastering choreography and refining their technique in an inclusive and spirited environment. Following these group lessons will be a performance to showcase the skills that were developed throughout this program.

The Dance Lab owner Brittni Throne said the program teaches children many skills.

“We want to see our students flourish and learn quality movement, grace and poise,” Thorne said. “Throughout the program, children will also develop vital qualities such as attentive listening, adhering to guidance and collaborating effectively as a team.”
