Monaville Road to close at rail crossing in Round Lake Beach

The Canadian National Railway crossing on Monaville Road in Round Lake Beach will be closed or repairs starting at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 and is expected to reopen by the afternoon of Saturday, Aug. 24.

A detour will take drivers from Route 83 to Route 132 (Grand Avenue) to Cedar Lake Road. Local traffic will have access from Cedar Lake Road east to the railroad crossing and from Route 83 west to the railroad crossing. The crossing will be closed to all traffic.
