Registration open for Hanover Township’s Fall Tutoring Program
Students can struggle in school. Hanover Township is here to help.
Beginning Sept. 17 and running for 10 weeks, the Township’s Fall Tutoring program will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Town Hall, 250 S. Route 59, in Bartlett. The program is offered to students in grades two-eight, in all subject matters, and students in grades nine-12 for those struggling with math skills.
Last year, 65 students participated in the Fall Tutoring program.
Students can register for one-hour sessions, with certified teachers, starting at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. The tutoring fee is $45 per student, per semester.
Tutoring groups are developed based on age, subject matter, and learning needs. Students who participate regularly and bring their school materials/assignments to each session improve in academic performance and become more self-confident.
