Weed Ladies preparing their seasonal floral arrangements for upcoming sales

The Naper Settlement Weed Ladies are preparing for their Fall and Winter Sales, featuring creative seasonal floral arrangements.

Each one-of-a-kind silk or dried floral creation has been designed by the Weed Ladies of the Naperville Heritage Society volunteer group. Proceeds benefit the Naperville Heritage Society.

Admission to these sales is free. The Fall Sale will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, Sept. 26-28, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at Naper Settlement, 523 S Webster St. The Winter Sale will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, Nov. 14-16.

Use Naper Settlement’s main entrance and inform the guest services team that you are attending the sale.

Parking is available in the municipal lot across the street, in Naper Settlement's visitor's lot (at the corner of Webster Street and Porter Avenue), or along Webster Street. There can be no parking in Naper Settlement's Chapel lot due to weddings.

Purchasing a floral arrangement from the Weed Ladies benefits Naper Settlement’s education and preservation programs.

Volunteers needed

Do you have a green thumb? The Weed Ladies could use your help. They are always looking for folks to help with sales and creating arrangements. They also need volunteers to maintain the garden on the grounds. Volunteers must be age 18 or older.

To volunteer, call (630) 305-5289 and leave a message or email the Naper Settlement volunteer coordinator at nsvolunteer@naperville.il.us.
