Watch out for Wolf Road reconstruction in Des Plaines
Folks driving through Des Plaines should avoid Wolf Road between Touhy Avenue and Golf Road for a while.
The Illinois Department of Transportation began resurfacing more than 2 miles of the roadway this week, and the work will require intermittent lane closures during daylight hours, officials said.
The $3.4 million project is expected to be completed next summer.
Access to homes and businesses in the work zone will be allowed.
Drivers should watch out for construction workers, equipment and signs in the work zones.
