North Aurora brewery set to release beer that won gold medal at World Beer Cup

North Aurora’s Brother Chimp Brewing will commemorate its recent gold medal in the 2024 World Beer Cup with a weekend celebration starting Friday, July 19.

Ludwig, the beer that took top honors in the Vienna-style lager category, has not been available since their win in late April but will be tapped when they open at noon on Friday. The brewery will host food trucks and live music all weekend as well. The beer is also available for purchase as a four-pack of cans.

The celebration goes from noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
