Column clearly wrong about court decision
I’m mystified why the Daily Herald would publish such a ridiculous, false column as the one by Jeff Robbins on July 11. Robbins says the Supreme Court ruling regarding presidential immunity handed “Donald Trump carte blanche to commit whatever crimes he chooses if he returns to the presidency.”
This is blatantly false and an example of the left’s altering the facts of a case to spread lies to uninformed readers. Presidents — including Joe Biden and Barack Obama — must be protected from prosecution for official actions done as commander in chief. In the cases of criminal acts, Congress can impeach the president and remove him or her from office.
So, please, DH editors: screen these absurd and false articles before publishing them, or at least rebut them as false.
