Intersection improvements underway in Lake Zurich
Work on intersection improvements at Miller Road at Route 12 in Lake Zurich is underway, so drivers should prepare of traffic lane shifts and possible delays.
Traffic is moving to the north side of Miller on the west side of Route 12, and the south side of Miller Road on the east side of Route 12. Lanes will be marked through Route 12 to help traffic through the intersection.
In addition, traffic will be limited to one lane at times for the installation of the storm sewer crossings.
The project includes widening and resurfacing to provide left turn lanes on Miller Road. Sidewalks also will be added.
Drivers are urged to watch for workers and trucks entering and leaving the construction site and to use slower speeds and proceed with caution.
