GOP now embracing technicalities

I find it interesting that the only reason Trump was elected president was due to a technicality; he lost the majority of the popular vote but won the electoral votes. The only reason he wasn’t found guilty in both impeachment trials, where a majority voted him guilty both times, was due to the two-thirds requirement. Both instances are the mere technicalities the Republicans used to complain about for years, but now find acceptable.

They used to complain about the courts creating law where none existed before, until now when it suits their purposes. Again, another mere technicality. Now the Republicans, who have been claiming the Democrats are weaponizing the justice system, are ready to actually weaponize that same justice system should they win the White House.

Another mere technicality? It used to be that when a candidate lost a presidential election, they went away, they respected the will of the people. Just another technicality? Another mere technicality for you to ponder; why is the press so fixated on President Biden’s age and not the lies Trump keeps telling?
