A curious stance for Democrats

Recently the public has been made aware of actions taken by the wives of two conservative Supreme court justices. Now Democratic Senators Durbin and Whitehouse are calling for the justices to recuse themselves. First, the wives have every right under our constitution to have their own opinion. Second, it has to be very embarrassing for the Democrats, in reading between the lines, how Durbin and Whitehouse are telling the judges to “control” their women. Is this what they really stand for?
