Northwest Fourth Fest returns to Hoffman Estates July 3-7

Northwest Fourth Fest, the region’s largest free-admission Fourth of July celebration, returns to Hoffman Estates this summer.

Hosted by the village of Hoffman Estates and the Hoffman Estates Park District, Northwest Fourth Fest kicks off at the Now Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, with the carnival July 3 through 7.

The full festival will take place on July 5 and 6 with a jam-packed lineup of events and activities.

In addition to the carnival and Bingo, the fest features the popular free Kids’ Zone, presented by Wintrust, with a petting zoo, face painting, a balloon twister, inflatable slides and musical shows. Everything in the Kids’ Zone is free, and there will be plenty of family-friendly fun for all ages.

Entertainment on Friday night includes live music from Ken Dix starting at 5:30 p.m. and Wedding Banned starting at 8:30 p.m., with a break at 9:30 p.m. for a state-of-the-art drone light show.

Saturday night entertainment includes live music from Serendipity at 5:30 p.m. and 7th heaven at 8:30 p.m. with a break at 9:30 p.m. for the region’s largest fireworks show presented by Groot.
