Document destruction event June 15 in Prospect Heights

Prospect Heights will host a drive-through document destruction event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 15, at the Metra Station, 55 S. Wolf Road.

Only residents of the city and other Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County communities are eligible to participate and IDs will be checked for verification.

Materials will not be accepted from businesses, schools, or institutions. Residents will be limited to six boxes or comparable size bags. Plastic bags will not be accepted.

Plastic spines/covers and metal clips/binders must be removed from all documents, and photos, slides, negatives, books, store receipts, magazines, greeting cards and newspapers will not be accepted.
