Enforcement needed

I live close to Highway 53, and it is our main artery to the south to Interstate 90.

In the past, Rte. 53 was just a minor passage, but over the years, it has become busier with traffic seeking a fast way north as well.

I have witnessed many crashes on this highway — including some that were fatal.

Recently, I have noticed more “extreme” travel; that is, high speed and “lane surfing.” This is something that the police need to address — and if you have ever experienced it, I can testify that it is terrifying to see a strange car usurping your lane at high speed, and crossing directly in front of you.

It has happened to me and it can happen to you as well because it is so prevalent now!

Please let’s get more police surveillance on this problem.
