The 2024 St. Charles Fine Art Show winners announced
The 26th annual St. Charles Fine Art Show on May 25-26 showcased 100 fine artists in 13 different mediums that were judged by a panel on Saturday afternoon. Ten exhibitors were presented with an artist award.
These awards recognize the artist’s originality, technique, execution, expression, and overall impression of their art. The awards given out are as follows:
• Best of Show: Gary Stretar — painting, oil
• Awards of Excellence:
William Boyle — wood
Karri Jamison — painting, acrylic
Julie Latayan — clay/ceramics
Igor Menaker — fine art photography
Rahmon Olugunna — painting, oil
Aaron Sault — fine art jewelry
• Judges Awards:
Kyle Hendrix — clay/ceramics
Eric Lee — digital art
Kate Morgan — mixed media
This event featured a juried art show, along with family-friendly art activities, live entertainment, an art and music experience on the 1st Street Plaza, and more.
