Boulder Hill Elementary has another successful McTeacher's Night at Oswego McDonald's

Boulder Hill Elementary School held their Second McTeacher's Night on Tuesday, April 17, at the Oswego McDonald's on Douglas Road. The Oswego McDonald's was taken over by teachers excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families to raise money for Boulder Hill. The students and families were excited to see their teachers and Principal Mitchinson behind the counter and throughout the restaurant.

The teachers worked many different jobs during this event; Teachers helped take orders, work the drive-thru window, handed out orders, helped cleaned the lobby and sold many delicious hot apple pies.

During this event, Boulder Hill staff members, Brenda Farries, Elizabeth Medina, and Katie Ruffo all dressed in a pie costume while Desiree Rodriquez, Stephanie Ruopoli, and Brett Baresel escorted them with a tray of Hot Apple Pies to sell. All proceeds from the pie sales go to the school. McDonald's Owner/Operators, The Schmitt Family, donated all pies that were sold during this event.

The school mascot, Boomer the Bobcat, was in attendance and taking pictures with the students and their families. This made the night even more special for all who attended.

A special thank you goes to Rob Janosek who organized the event as well as the PTA board which was present, and all worked the entire night. Boulder Hill Elementary teachers worked hard while having a wonderful time and the families enjoyed a memorable evening. The Boulder Hill Elementary PTA plans to use the money raised to go into the PTA general fund to support events at the school.
