Republican governors let children starve

The reason given is U.S. debt?

Those same states are not worried about U.S. debt, when handed Welfare FEMA money, that cost billions upon billions.

They also refuse to change building codes for more resilient homes. That should disqualify them. At least, the federal government should look at income. Those making $200,000 or more should not get FEMA welfare money, nor get federal welfare for insurance cost. They should be responsible for their own insurance or lack of.

Wouldn’t that be considered being similarly responsible? Fifteen Republican states will let children die or suffer the well-known, lifelong effects of being starved as children.

The 15 Republican states are Texas, Florida, Georgia, South Dakota, Alabama, Alaska, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Vermont and Wyoming.

This is cruel. That is the point. If we starve families, they will find a job or they die and who pays to bury them? It is Republicans who have had one economic disaster after another. Hoover’s Great Depression, Reagan — S&L Disaster, HW Bush — continue of S&L Debt, GW Bush — 2008 Economic disaster.

These added billions upon billions to the debt, taking years to pay the costs, and moved money to the top. CEOs received huge bonuses.

However, we cannot feed starving children, but we can take care of the tax-evading billionaires.

If you think electing a heartless Trump as president is just talking, think again. It has been done before, Republican President Eisenhower’s policy was a huge deportation. Many were legal immigrants, some were not Mexican, some were U.S. citizens, some were WWII veterans, some were decorated heroes. If you think you are safe from this cruelty — think again.
