Mundelein Arts Commission Photo Contest Accepting Photos Through May

The Mundelein Arts Commission's annual 2024 Photo Contest is still accepting photos through the end of May. This year's theme is “Generations.” The broad nature of this theme is open to artistic interpretation; however, the photo must be taken in Mundelein. Photographers and photo enthusiasts are encouraged to use their creativity to capture imagery that conveys that across the generations, there is as much to learn as there is to teach. Generations may differ in their values and beliefs, but all share a common desire for happiness, love and a better world.

How will you capture the Greatest Generation (1901-1924), the Silent Generation (1925-1945), the Baby Boomers (1946-1964), Generation X (1965-1980), the Millennials (1981-1996), Generation Z (1997-2012) or Generation Alpha (2013-2025)?

Submittals are due on May 31. Winners receive a cash prize, and their photo will be displayed at the village hall and on Mundelein’s social media platforms. For rules and to submit a photo, visit mundelein.org/MAC.
