Lawmakers let us down

How worthless are our Illinois legislators?

A good example is Illinois Bill 4431 (halting mandatory road tests for senior drivers) which, despite an 8-1 vote of the Vehicles and Safety Committee, co-sponsorship by 46 Republican and Democrat House members, the bill was placed “on hold” and not voted on this session.

If the legislators can’t even pass a bill with little or no opposition, what are we paying them for?
