Bartlett man charged with felony DUI, resisting police

A 31-year-old Bartlett man faces a felony DUI charge after police said he committed several traffic violations and resisted arrest early Sunday.

Bartlett police said an officer stopped a 2014 Porsche Cayenne at about 1:15 a.m. Sunday after observing the driver disobeying a traffic light, speeding and improperly using lanes while traveling northbound on South Main Street.

The driver, Geno Uzunov, was charged with the Class 4 felony of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol and the Class A misdemeanors of driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and resisting a peace officer, police said.

He also was cited for improper lane use, speeding and disobeying a traffic control device, according to Bartlett police.

Uzunov was released with a court date of May 9 at the Cook County courthouse in Rolling Meadows.
