University of Tulsa names defensive line coach

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - New University of Tulsa football coach Philip Montgomery has filled another position on his staff.

Montgomery has announced the hiring of Jermial Ashley as defensive line coach.

Ashley spent the past two seasons as defensive line coach at Trinity Valley Community College in Texas. He spent the three seasons prior to that as defensive line coach at Oklahoma State where new Tulsa co-defensive coordinator Bill Young was coordinating the defense for the Cowboys.
