District 116 band booster raise $6,750

A private booster club has raised $6,750 for fine arts at Round Lake Area Unit District 116. Money was raised this month through an evening of entertainment and bids on donated items, such as Chicago sports memorabilia, hosted by the RLAS-116 Fine Arts Boosters. Funds are used to support expenses and needs outside of the District 116 budget, such as end-of-year scholarships to graduates and scholarships to current students for marching band captain, drum major and color guard captain leadership camp.
