Picture with Santa event to benefit Naperville Tornado Relief

Organizers from Naperville Tornado Relief are hosting a "Picture with Santa" event to benefit Naperville residents whose yards were severely damaged in last year's tornado.

The event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at BaseCamp Pub, 5750 Lakeside Drive in Lisle. The event is free, but donations will be accepted.

Santa will be on hand to chat with children and pose for photos. Kids can color and will receive a candy cane and holiday pencil.

Donations are needed to help Naperville residents clean up glass and other debris that remains in their yards from the EF3 tornado that struck last year in southeast Naperville. Donations are tax deductible.

Naperville Tornado Relief partnered with the M.P. Foundation, a nonprofit organization, for a one-year initiative dedicated to yard cleanup. For more information, visit www.NapervilleTornadoRelief.com.
