Carpentersville man charged with groping co-worker in Lake Zurich
A Carpentersville man faces a pair of felony charges alleging he groped a female co-worker without her consent last week in Lake Zurich.
Everado Cardenas, 53, of the 100 block of Bolz Road, appeared in court Monday, where he was ordered detained pending his next courtroom appearance May 16.
He faces charges of criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse stemming from accusations he grabbed the breast and genitals of a fellow employee April 19 at a memory care facility in the 600 block of America Court.
Cardenas was arrested on scene, police said.
This case remains under investigation by Lake Zurich police, officials said.
