Bloomington woman accused of fatally shooting husband

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Police have arrested a 23-year-old Bloomington woman on a preliminary charge of murder after finding her husband mortally wounded in the doorway of the couple's home.

Monroe County police arrested Taylor Roxann Kirby after a neighbor reported hearing four gunshots Saturday afternoon and officers found 26-year-old Justin Kirby dying from gunshot wounds.

Two children present at the home at the time of the shooting were unharmed and have been placed with a relative.

Taylor Kirby was booked into the Monroe County Jail. It wasn't clear whether she has an attorney.
