Gurnee seeks resident input on village's strategic plan

Gurnee officials are inviting community members to participate in a project that will help shape the village's future. This month, the village will begin the process of updating its strategic plan and host two communitywide focus groups to solicit input to help set village priorities for the next three to four years. The sessions are 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, and 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday Aug. 29, at Warren-Newport Public Library, 224 N. O'Plaine Road. Light refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited so participants are asked to RSVP by Aug. 18, to Pat Muetz, village administrator, (847) 599-7513 or administrator@village.gurnee.il.us.
