St. James West Dundee to celebrate new members Oct. 6

St. James Episcopal Church in West Dundee invites the community for a "Celebration of New Members" at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6.

The Rt. Rev. Jeffrey D. Lee, the 12th bishop of the Diocese of Chicago, will preside at the celebration and Mass.

New members will be confirmed and received by Bishop Lee. A reception will be held immediately following Mass.

St. James Episcopal Church is located at 516 Washington St., West Dundee.

The congregation was founded in 1864 and its mission is to welcome, teach and serve all God's people.
