South Roxana man facing at least 4 burglary charges
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) - Madison County authorities say they have arrested a serial burglar who confessed to about 30 crimes.
The Belleville News-Democrat (http://bit.ly/1HavjjM ) reports 18-year-old Edward Kraut Jr. of South Roxana has been charged with four counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary. Authorities say more charges could still be filed against him.
Investigators say Kraut and an accomplice targeted unlocked cars and sheds. They say the pair stole a variety of items ranging from electronics to lawn care equipment.
It wasn't immediately clear if Kraut has an attorney yet.
