Hoffman Estates hosting meeting about new fire station plan

Hoffman Estates officials are hosting an informational meeting about the construction of the new Fire Station #21 at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, at the current station, 225 Flagstaff Lane.

Projected construction schedules, renderings of the new building design and site layout plans will be shared at the meeting, which also will feature a question-and-answer session.

Construction of the new station is scheduled to begin later this year in Chino Park, located next door to the current station, which was built in 1960.
