Sinatra tribute fundraiser May 4 at Palatine American Legion hall

Palatine's Sons of the American Legion and Legion Auxiliary are jointly sponsoring a Frank Sinatra tribute and pasta dinner from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 4.

It'll be at the American Legion hall, 122 W. Palatine Road in Palatine, to raise funds for Legion Family Charities. Tickets are $20, or $17 for veterans and their spouses. They may be purchased at the door or in advance in the clubroom at the American Legion. Only 84 tickets are available.

Dinner will include penne pasta with marinara, meatballs and sausage; chicken Parmesan casserole; green beans almandine; garlic or Italian bread; salad; and coffee and dessert. A complimentary glass of wine is included with the meal. A full-service bar also will be available.

Auxiliary President Erica Bartnicki said Sam Magdal will perform his Sinatra tribute from 7 to 9 p.m.
